A while ago someone requested the old hymn, "The Day Thou Gavest, Lord, is Ended." First of all, thank you for the opportunity to learn such a beautiful song. Second, I've completed an arrangement and sent a link to my e-mail subscribers. It will be available here, and on my podcast at http://joelcast.blogspot.com, soon!

A listener once requested "The Day Thou Gavest, Lord, is Ended," and it's been on my "easel" for some time now as I work with the varying instruments and musical lines. I'm polishing up the last verse, so it's close to being done! I look forward to bringing it to you on the Fresh Piano podcast in the near future.

There's been no news lately. But I'm working on it...

The DaVinci Academy from Colorado Springs, CO will be using the Fresh Hymns arrangement of God Be With You Till We Meet Again in their March 25th performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Congratulations to this group for winning the 2006 Creative Ticket National School of Distinction. You can catch them live online on Sunday, March 25, at 6 PM Eastern at the Kennedy Center Site:

Yes, Virginia, there is a Christmas CD. I sold a number of copies locally, just haven't gotten them on CD Baby. I'll post more news when they are available online... perhaps you'd like a copy for next Christmas! Also, you'll find a couple of the tracks in their entirety on the music page.

I've been in the studio, recording some of your favorites for my Christmas CD, which I plan to release near the end of this month. I'm mastering many of the songs using some new equipment, so you should hear a definite improvement in tone and recording quality!
